- Written Test: A 2.5-hour MCQ-based test with 160 questions covering General Awareness, English & Reasoning, and the Concerned Discipline.
- Final Selection: Merit will be purely based on the marks obtained in the Written Test.

Salary for NAeL Non-Executive posts will be provided as per the 7th Pay Commission.
- Source: DA is calculated at 471.2% of basic pay as of 1st April 2026 .
- Leave: Earned Leave (2.5 days per month) and Casual Leave .
