Selection Process
- Merit List Preparation: A merit list will be prepared based on the candidate's 10+2 (HSC) marks. The list will be state-wise, district-wise, and category-wise.
- Tie-breaker Rule: If two candidates have the same 10+2 marks, the older candidate will be given preference.
- Document Verification: Shortlisted candidates will be called for verification of original documents.

Punjab & Sind Bank Apprentice Recruitment 2026: Important Questions
Q1. Is there a written exam for this recruitment?
Ans: No. Punjab & Sind Bank will not conduct any written exam. Candidates will be selected on the basis of a merit list prepared from their 10+2 marks, along with document verification and local language eligibility.
Q2. Can postgraduate candidates apply?
Ans: No. Candidates holding a postgraduate qualification are not eligible. Only candidates with a Regular Graduation who have not completed 5 years since passing and have less than one year of work experience may apply.
Q3. What is the monthly stipend?
Ans: Selected candidates will receive a monthly stipend of ₹12,300. No additional allowances or benefits will be provided apart from the stipend.
Q4. Is this a permanent job?
