Indian Navy SSC IT Officer Recruitment 2026: Important Questions
Q1. When does the application window open and close?
Ans: Applications opened on May 16, 2026 and close on June 1, 2026. Apply on the official portal at joinindiannavy.gov.in.
Q2. Who is eligible to apply?
Ans: Unmarried Indian citizens (men and women) born between January 1, 2002 and July 1, 2007 (age 19–24 years). You must have at least 60% marks in English in Class X or XII, and 60% aggregate in your qualifying degree.
Q3. What happens after the SSB?
Ans: Only SSB-recommended candidates undergo the full medical examination. Passing the medical is mandatory. A final merit list is prepared and appointment offers are issued based on available training slots at INA Ezhimala. Inclusion in the merit list does not automatically guarantee a seat.
Q4. Is there any application fee?
Ans: No. The application is completely free for all candidates. No fee is charged under any category.
Q5. Where and how long is the training?
