Q1. What is the salary of EPFO LDC / JSA after LDCE promotion?
Ans: Starting basic pay is ₹19,900 (Level-2). In-hand salary is approximately ₹28,000–₹35,000 per month initially, plus all Central Government allowances.
Q2. Is there any difference in salary for LDC (Field Offices) and JSA (Head Office)?
Ans: No major difference. Both are placed in Level-2 (₹19,900–63,200). The job profile and pay are almost the same; only the channel of further promotion differs slightly.
Q3. Will I get salary hike immediately after clearing LDCE?
Ans: Yes. Once promoted and posted, your pay will be fixed in Level-2. You will also get arrears if there is any delay in joining the new post.
