CBSE Board Class Xth Examination 2026: Important Questions
Q1. When will the CBSE 10th Result 2026 be declared?
Ans: Phase 1 (Main Exam) result is expected in April 2026 (reports suggest mid-April, by April 10–20, or by April-end at the latest). This is earlier than usual due to the new two-phase exam system.
Phase 2 result is expected in June 2026.
Past trends (without the two-phase system) showed results around mid-May ( May 13 in 2024 & 2025). Always check the official CBSE website for the confirmed date.
Q2. Is the online marksheet final and original?
Ans: No. The online result/marksheet is provisional. Collect the original marksheet from your school later. It is valid for most purposes initially (admissions, etc.).
Q3. What are the passing criteria for CBSE Class 10?
Ans: Minimum 33% marks in each subject (theory + internal assessment combined).
No separate passing required for theory and practical in Class 10 (unlike Class 12).
You need to pass all five main subjects to get the passing certificate.
